Membership Terms & Cancellation Policy
At Vessel, our goal is to make floating a consistent and meaningful part of your well-being. We maintain clear and fair scheduling and membership policies so that we can offer reliable availability, balanced pricing, and high-quality experiences for everyone who floats with us.
These terms apply to all memberships (Standard, Unlimited / Infinity, and Core) and to all scheduled float appointments.
1. Appointment Cancellations & No-Shows
We understand that schedules change. You may cancel or reschedule your appointment up to 2 hours before your session at no charge.
Cancellations or reschedules made within 2 hours of the appointment time, as well as no-shows, may be charged up to the full value of the session or member credit used. This helps us reserve each tank responsibly and offer availability fairly.
2. Membership Billing & Renewal
All memberships are billed automatically on a recurring monthly basis until cancelled.
Membership benefits (float credits, unlimited access, or preferred pricing) are available for the entire billing cycle once payment has processed.
Some membership types include a minimum commitment period — if applicable, this is stated at signup.
For example, the Core Membership includes a 3-month minimum term.
Unlimited / Infinity Memberships are billed month-to-month with no minimum term.
3. How to Cancel a Membership
To cancel a membership, the member must email our Billing Department at:
This is the only accepted cancellation method.
Phone calls, in-person requests, or messages to staff are not considered cancellation notice.
We require cancellation by email so that both you and Vessel have a clear written record and there is no risk of miscommunication.
Cancellations take effect as of the date the email is received.
If a billing cycle has already processed at the time your cancellation request is received, the Refund Policy below will apply.
4. Membership Pauses
Members may request to pause their membership at any time by emailing:
Pauses are generally offered in monthly increments.
There is no limit to how many times you may pause, unless otherwise noted in your membership type.
5. Refund Policy for Unused Billing Cycles
A billing cycle may be eligible for refund or credit only if no floats were completed during that billing period.
A float is considered “completed” once it is checked in or marked complete in our system.
If no floats were used during the billing cycle:
- Charges within the last 30 days may be refunded to the original payment method.
- Charges older than 30 days may be issued as store credit, which does not expire and can be used toward future floats or memberships.
If any float was used during the billing period:
- The payment is not eligible for refund or credit.
- No partial refunds are issued.
Store credit can be applied toward reactivating a membership or booking future sessions.
6. Minimum-Term Memberships
If your membership includes a required minimum term (e.g., the Core Membership), cancellation prior to completion of the commitment may require fulfilling the remaining term, unless otherwise stated in your membership agreement.
